The middle class sedan from Genesis is finally a reality.

In recent years, Hyundai has been increasingly trying to prove to Europeans that, with the Genesis sub-brand, Hyundai is thinking of the old continent deadly. Proof of this is the G80, which, with its exceptionally attractive pricing policy, has really shuffled cards and, ultimately, is increasingly affecting the sales of the German premium trophy. Surely, the much lower price will know in some detail, and the G80-ka does not have such a prestige and status on the market, its price/ performance ratio is really a matter of reflection. Similarly, even more vigorously, Genesis wants to be a middle class, and to take care of it, it has another important model – the G70.

A chief competitor, particularly BMW 3 Series, but also vehicles such as Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C and Jaguar XE, are out of the world outside the Frankfurt Motor Show and are keen to take on their sports-styled temperament. The G70-ka acts aggressively, but at the same time combines elegant elements. The truth is, from a certain point of view, it’s like a whisper or a mix of other vehicles, since Genesis still does not have its completely uniform and unambiguous design direction.

Why this car?

The interiors are dominated by high-quality elements, multiple decors or leather. Of course, there is a plethora of assistive systems, in line with the trends, there is no protruding center display of the infotainment. The 4685 x 1850 x 1400 millimeter and the 2835 millimeter radius share the Kiou Stinger technology, with a range of engines including the Lambda II 3.3 T-GDI (272 kW/ 370 hp), Theta II 2.0 T-GDI (185 kW/ 252 hp) and the 2.2- liter VGT (149 kW/ 202 hp) turbo diesel. The automaker says the only option will be an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the power can only be transmitted to the rear or all wheels. Rear-drive versions have a mechanical self-locking differential, but also to mention a dynamic torque vectoring system or adaptive dampers and up to 5 driving modes. The 3.3-liter six-cylinder model can accelerate for one hundred in 4.7 seconds, with a top speed of 270 km/ h. We do not know about price sessions yet.
