Legendary 911s would not have sold the sales game, so the Germans were forced to enjoy entry into new waters. A sci-fi story based on a vehicle built on the Volkswagen platform and counting even with a diesel engine from Audi was not the same at that time, and Cayenne was one of the first SUVs to take on the previous limits and traditions, just to bring the mark to gains.
Why this car?
The initial shock, which has not yet been passed by a large group of people, has changed the sensation, to such an extent that virtually all traditional sports and luxury car makers, following Porsche’s model in the portfolio, have incorporated an SUV or do so soon. Cayenne literally fired and became the most successful brand of the brand – the second generation was sold in more than 760 thousand pieces! However, the hands are rapidly gaseous, and at the end of August this year, the highest time has come for intergenerational change, and therefore the coming of the third continuation.
It could seem that nothing has changed in fact, which is at first glance the truth and the truth. In Porsche, they have clearly said that what is good does not need to change, and the result really suggests. Looking at official photos, few would argue that we are looking at something completely new, and when it’s just a facelift. Reality really looks like this, but the truth is that the newly developed SUV really is in the background. The third Cayenne,in terms of design, comes as a kind of evolution rather than a revolution.
The most visible sign of the rear seacoast headlights, which are modeled after the Panamera interconnected. The rest of the body looks virtually identical, although individual details suggest it is a new car. The third generation of the luxury SUV is on the MLB Evo Group, and it is no secret or surprise that it shares a number of technologies with thenew Panamera. It is clear that sooner or later we will find a truly diverse range of engines, including the V8 version, the plug-in hybrid and also the diesel variant, but the introduction comes in two versions. TheCayenne is powered by a 3-liter V6 engine with a power output of250 kW/ 340 hp and 450 Nm, allowing it to accelerate for one hundred seconds in 6.2 seconds (with the Sport Chrono in 5.9 seconds) while the maximum speed is 245 km/ h.
The second one is the Cayenne S variant, but under its hood, we will find a new, double-filled 2.9 V6 unit with power up to 324 kW/ 440 hp and 550 Nm. S-ko will shoot at 100 km/ h in just 5.2 seconds (with the Sport Chrono in 4.9 seconds) and can reach a maximum speed of 265 km/ h. A new 8-speed Tiptronic S gearbox takes care of the airplane, and multiple driving modes are not available in different conditions. The new SUV from Porsche starts in the German market with an amount of 75,000 €, the more efficient S-ko will cost at least € 92,000. As long as it has lagged for longer, its production will be finalized in Bratislava- the foundation of a new assembly hall in Volkswagen Slovakia was already in place in 2015 and is currently ready for production.
